Who makes title sequences?
Saul Brass

Saul Brass was a graphic designer and film-maker, best known for his title sequences. During his career, he worked for some of Hollywood's greatest film-makers, including Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, Otto Preminger and Billy Wilder.

He became most well-known after creating a title sequence for 'The Man with The Golden Arm' in 1955. He designed a simple paper cut-out of a heroin addict's arm; he chose the arm as a powerful image of addiction rather than Frank Sinatra's famous face. Saul Brass is also best known for his use of simple, geometric shapes and the use of a simple image standing alone to deliver a powerful message e.g. The Man with The Golden Arm
